Four theories about what happens when we die

Despite the great strides made by scholars over the past few decades, we still lack a comprehensive explanation for the greatest mystery that concerns every living being on this planet, what exactly happens when we die.

Since the last years spent a lot of research on the topic of clinical death, and the experiences of thousands of people who have experienced near-death experience, Huffington Post is counted several theories on this subject, which appeared during the past few years.

* There is no 'light at end of tunnel'
Scientists have proven that there is no 'light at end of tunnel'

First is the experience of Dr. Eben Alexander III., Neurosurgeon who has 25 years teaching at Harvard. In 2008. he contracted a rare form of bacterial meningitis and fell into a deep coma. After several days of vegetative woke up and remembered that he was traveling through the 'core', where he met the vision of God. Woke up, he realized that there is an existence outside of our own. In fact, many scientists believe that the cessation of brain activity dies and the mind / soul. However, the experience of Dr. Alexander raises the question: how is brain dead person could experience a spiritual experience?

Psychiatrist Dr. Bruce Greyson believes however that the experience of clinical death, proving that the mind can function without a physical body. Specifically, Greyson has studied more than a hundred death experiences, and singled out those who have the experience as the feeling of peace, love and a sense of 'leaving the body'. Although most scientists reject these experiences as hallucinations triggered by stress, which passes through the brain in this state, Greyson claims that it proves that the mind can function without a physical body.

Biocentrist Robert Lanza said that we do not actually die: because the time and space tools to help people understand the world around them, and since they are unconscious they do not exist, nor do we not die. Death does not exist in a timeless world spaceless, says Lanza.

Neurologist Wendy Wright however believes that the experience of clinical death, only the result of release of endorphins in the brain, so that when this chemical discharges, can occur different types of phenomena: a person may see light, feel the calmness or may feel that he was surrounded by loved ones. Such a vision, though comforting to individuals, only the tricks our brains, says Wright.

You have introduced a fascinating subject, but you have not fully developed even one theory. You have merely introduced each one. This is not a finished hub. Continue to elaborate on each theory bring in much more detail. Do some research and find some real life experiences or examples and this will be a worth while hub.
